South Korea's HR pickling material difficult on sale in Taiwan

It is reported that more than 10,000 tons of HR pickling material imported from South Korea is looking for selling into the Taiwanese steel market with NT$22,000/ton.
However, the steel market in Taiwan is currently rife with HR leeway stocks, which is impacting on the products from South Korea.
According to market insiders, the market price of HRC’s stock is around NT$21,000/ton at present, and the processing charges on pickling is nearly NT$1,000/ton.
In other words, the price of product from South Korea is too high to position into the Taiwan’s steel market at this moment.
