Posco to raise stainless steel price by 5.9% for September

Posco announced on Friday that it will increase its stainless steel prices by 5.9 percent for September to reflect rising material costs.
The company’s price for hot rolled stainless steel product would raise by 200,000 won/ton or 5.9 percent to 3.55 million won, and cold roll products would increase by 5.5 percent to 3.82 million won/ton.
Posco plans to run full capacity despite the price increase and a potential slowdown on a weak demand.
