Baosteel may raise steel price for September

China's top steelmaker Baosteel would raise September steel prices by up to RMB300/ton (US$45), in spite of market demand is still weak. Citigroup analysts said.
Last week, China's Hebei Steel has also increased its price by RMB300/ton. A new price rebound is starting as many mills have cut their production output.
Citigroup analysts see a 25-percent drop of iron ore contract price in the fourth quarter.
