Baosteel Group to pour more investment into Bayi Steel

China’s Baosteel Group has announced plans to invest RMB30 billion into Bayi Steel to speed up restructuring and technical transformation projects.
And through management and technology transfer, Bayi Steel will reach 10 million tons annual steel capacity in western China and Central Asia. And it will become one of the most competitive steel companies.
Bayi Steel has increased its production to current 7 million tons from 3 million tons after Baosteel’s investment.
