European scrap export prices continue to drop

Due to Indian and Turkey buyers are not interested to place more orders, the European steel scrap exports offer declined further.
According to a supplier in Europe, the current HMS1,2 (70:30) export price decreased to US$320~330/ton and shredded scrap down to US$340/ton.
Moreover, the orders from Turkey are very rare, which may lead to further fall in prices. Turkey buyers are expected to return to the market in 1-2 weeks.
