Daewoo to supply parts to shipyard in Middle East

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., the world’s second-biggest shipbuilder, said yesterday its subsidiary received a $167 million order from a shipyard in the Middle East.
The order calls for DSEC Co., the shipbuilding engineering subsidiary, to supply steel plates and other parts to build four oil tankers at the Middle East shipyard, the firm said in a statement, without identifying the client. Yonhap
